Novelty Express is a division of M.R. Williams, Inc. residing in a separate location in Henderson, NC. This warehouse facility is a smaller footprint of M.R. Williams, Inc. but generates a large business in Novelty sales across several states including NC, SC, VA, DE, and MD. This role is responsible for managing the Regional Route Sales Reps in the VA, MD, and DE markets. This role is also responsible for backing up a route truck for customer sales and delivery in the Richmond, VA, and surrounding area customers. The District Sales Manager is accountable for new business development, store performance analysis over regional area, developing positive relationships with Route Sales Representatives and customers, training, and expense management.
· Manage Regional Route Sales Representatives
· Backup to route trucks in surrounding areas
· Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and goal setting

This will require extensive driving and possible overnight stays in hotels (paid by the Company) within a 2-3-hour radius of your home. The ability to lift 50 pounds, bending, climbing in and out of 16 ft (small) box truck and manual dexterity to operate handheld computer are also routine parts of this position. A clean driver record is needed. Ideal candidate would live in the Richmond, Virginia, or general area. Must have management experience along with excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to develop relationships quickly, be able to develop and analyze data/reports, and work well in a team environment. The candidate must be able to manage time effectively to achieve expected goals.
The position offers a base salary, vehicle, phone/allowance, full benefits package, and monthly bonus/commission. Currently, we are offering a $500 sign-on bonus when you start and $500 after 90 days plus a training stipend for 60-90 days. After 60-90 training is complete the position will qualify for commission.
